DAY 22 BLOOD RUSH

Today I left the hospital and my Hubby to head to work.  I thought as long as he was in the hospital and can call me he would be ok.  He made it all night not needing a transfusion.  So I took my Vitamins supplement and got some coffee with no sugar and headed out.  Did not sleep much.  It is the hospital and the chair I sat in did not help my neck.

Allison came last night to visit and bring some much needed Supplies.  Our pastor came t visit as well.  I received a lot of calls about Steve while I was at work.  Then Finally about 1pm  He called me to tell me he is getting a transfusion.  His blood count is too low and he was still bleeding. So I decided to leave work and take tomorrow off to be with him.  He has the nurses but a man feels better when his wife is there to take care of him and make sure he gets what he needs.  A man will not tell you but his wife is the one he trust the most and can confide his pain to.

I went by the house and got me a change of cloths and him some clean cloths.  I fed the cat and dogs and ringed at the house that I need to get cleaned up soon.  I had a slam and it helped me keep going.  I got to the hospital in time to hear the doc tell him about his procedure tomorrow and if the find a bleeding ulcer what their options were including surgery.

He is not a happy camper.  I did not eat well today but drank more water and take my meds and vitamins. He is however able to eat clear liquids with no red food coloring.  The hospital gave him chicken broth and a whole lot of laxatives he is still trying to get out of his system.  Allison came and we went to get him some egg drop soup that I had to strain all the eggs out.  I guess that is love.    Allison got him a remote control Helicopter to play with in the hospital room.  along with all his electronics he brought he is set up.  It is just bad that we are both missing work.  It cant be helped.

Now hubby is into his second bag of A+ blood and has one to go.  He was way low on blood. I am worried but do not let him see it.  He will be in the hospital a few days but tomorrow I am going to get organized and eat right and on my Supplements and even stretch here in the hospital.  Got to get focused.  Stress can always make you loose your focus and a sick loved one can make you forget to take care of yourself.  My goal is to drink only water and lots of it.  Take a slam and my Vitamins and work on my projects while I wait for his procedure to be completed.

God bless everyone and remember take time for yourself.

DAY 21 A Rush to the ER

Today at 300 am Hubby woke me up packing his bags.  First question out of my mouth was are you leaving me in the middle of the night.   I was joking.  He said no I need to go to the ER.  See late yesterday he was not feeling well at all. He complained about tummy pains and feeling sick.  Apparently trying to get up and go to the bathroom was too much for him.  He was getting dizzy and trying to pass out.

So off to the ER. We spent 12 hours in the ER before he was admitted for GI bleeding.  He got a room at 4pm.  His blood count kept dropping and if it goes down too much he will have to have a transfusion.  So I had an energy Bar while I was in the Er with him and a Spark because I was getting so tired.  However I did eat a hamburger for lunch which is a no no and picked up my MRI results.

It turns out that I have bulging disk and compression on some of my spine from c2 down to t1 and the start of tissue degeneration.  All probably due to my lupus.  I sent the results to my regular doctor and await his orders if any.  My neck hurt bad after moving my hubby and his bags.  I need to remember not to stress my neck and shoulder.

So tonight I will be with my hubby at the hospital making sure he is taken care of and trying to stay healthy myself .  I am going to try and drink more water and keep my energy up so I do not get sick.

DAY 18

Felt better today.  Spent the day getting ready for work tomorrow.  We did go to home depot and walked around to get exercise and look at much needed items for repairs to our home.  I made sure to have my sling on for my left arm to make sure I do not injury it further. Then we went and got my meds from the pharmacist.

I made sure to do my stretches and we eat healthy all day.  I just need to remember to drink more water.

DAY 19

Work came and we were not busy.  Eating healthy can be expensive especially if you choose to eat out for lunch.   Because we had to work through lunch to catch up I had tuna salad from a local place.  I was not happy for how much I paid and how little I got.  Also they did not get my order right.  They did however deliver me my right order even in the pouring rain so I will give them that.

Still need to learn to drink more water and the meds are making me thirsty. I had a slam for energy and a Fibo Trim.  I cannot wait for my order to come in. My weight has slow down but I expected it because of the meds I have been on but I am going to keep to my routine so I can develop good habits.

Hubby was off today so when I got home I made sure to take my meds and we watched a movie.  Never Been Kissed.  I love the fact he watched it with me.

DAY 20

Four more days left in the 24 Day challenge.  I will weigh myself and measure myself but I need to keep going do to all my medication.  My 24 Day Challenge may turn into a 48 Day challenge.  I need to get through the plan without problems.  However I have to do what the doctor says.

I did go get my MRI today.  That was not a fun test.  The noise was so loud that made my head hurt and I had to be real still in a small space.  My hand fell asleep.  I think hubby is worrying himself sick.  I only worked a little over half a day but it was a good day.  The pain has not been as bad.  I should find out tomorrow about the test results.  I wonder if it would even matter if I knew the problem.  Most of my illness you pretty much have to live with and make sure you eat healthy and take your meds.

Hubby has been on Muscle strength and catalyst.  He was excited that he could see muscle definition and that he can make his pecks move.  Allison is doing better now that she getting all her supplements in.  I plan on ordering some sample packs for anyone who want to try the product.  They just have to let me know they want to try.  First come, First Serve. Just email me at pheonixadvocare@gmail.com.

Now that I have my test done and most of my meds out of the way time to get back on my supplement routine.  I know so far I have lost 5 lbs.  Need to find out how many inches.

God Bless Everyone.

DAY 17 MRI WHAT? OUCH!

DAY 17

What a day.  Despite the pain in my neck and shoulder we were able to have our family breakfast out and go groceries shopping.  I love my family outings.  Walking through the store is great exercise.  I took my Fibo Trim and Catalyst.

When we got home I was just hurting to much that I had to lay down.  I could have taken a slam but I needed to make sure I was not over doing it.  Allison was feeling great and cleaning her room, doing laundry, and putting together her futon she got for her room.

I got up and let hubby sleep before he had to go to work.  I knew my left hand was swelling and tingling so I needed to go to the Emergency care.  I waited for Allison to get done with her project.  Hubby wanted to miss work to take me but I told him he needs to work so we can pay the bill.  He is so sweet and he was so worried. Allison would not let me go alone and has been going with me to the doctor from the time she was a baby.

By the time she was done she told me her head was hurting and her nose was bleeding so it was good I needed to go.  So we both went leaving Hubby at home to work travel.  Turned out she had a sinus infection and well I apparently have arthritis in my neck and have to get an MRI next week. Fun stuff.  Not even 40 and I am enjoying the pains of getting older already.

If I have advice to give to those who have not hit my age yet is to start early taking your supplements, eating right and stretching day and night.  Start your good habits early.  I wish I did.  Also listen to your body.  You know your body best. Now that I know what is the problem I can research it  and get some Joint Promotion.  I guess I am going to need stock in Advocare.

I will keep you up to date.  Have a blessed. Night.

The Babies doing Reasearch for me.  LOL

DAY 16! Cats Meow!!!

Day 16.  Today work was not as busy but had a lot to do.  The weather was nice.  I still hurt in my left arm and neck but I stretched and took my supplements.  I had a meal replacement shake for breakfast and broccoli , sweet potatoes and baked chicken for lunch.

It can get to you eating so much chicken.  I need to stay away from red meat.  I can have tuna but chicken seems to be assessable when I am working.  About 1pm I went to check the mail for work and the pain in my neck got worse.  Almost seemed like a migraine.

I did get to see an old friend of mine.  RAY FLEX who has been a personal trainer for many years and has a body building competition.  I use to work the show managing back stage and presenting trophies for almost 7 years.  Him and his wife has started a charity to get people healthy.   He had not seen Allison for a long time and was surprise at how she has grown.  They have a show coming soon.

By the time I got ready to go home I was hurting bad. Good thing Allison was with me.  The drive was difficult.  You have to move your head to make sure you do not run over anyone.  LOL Who Knew.

When I got home I soaked on hot salt water and it helped some.  We had supper and Hubby went to work and I tried to relax.  At one time I had all three cats on me.  I know when I am still when the cats start to use me as a couch.  They do make great heating pads.  That is until they decide to fight over who gets my lap.  Then My little Dog Rocky wanted in on the action.  He is spoiled rotten.  They are like our babies.  IF we could let our two big dogs in I would be covered in fur.

Each day is a gift from God and I am reminded of it daily.  I am so thankful.  I was supposed to die years ago but I will say that only God know when it is your time.

Allison is doing great on her 24 day challenge.  I am so Proud.

God bless and Good Night.

DAY 15... TEARS WILL COME.

DAY 15.

What a hard day. The one thing about having Fibromyalgia is when the pain comes the only thing you can do is pray and keep going. It is very hard because it wants to beat you down and you feel like doing nothing and giving up. Tears will come and stress will be worse.

It was so bad that I could not even do my daily post. The recover was faster now. I kept on my supplements and stretched. I soaked in salt hot water and remain still mostly. Just know there is someone out there that understands and know that this is never easy.

I eat when I could, trying to eat little bit all day. Never let your body break down. On days like this pampering is in order. I should have done that but work was a priority. If I could predict when I have my bad days I would schedule myself on pamper day. I need to come up with an emergency pamper kit for days like this one and put it in my car. I might just do that. It will include an extra slam and spark with an oasis good for stress. I will let you know what I come up with.

Keep going. It may take you longer to loose the weight or get at your goal but you will get there.

Gentle hugs everyone and God Bless.

DAY 14.. Half Way There!!!!

Day 14.  Half way there.  So today I kept on my high fiber diet and ate oatmeal for breakfast and a meal replacement shake for snack. Then for Lunch I had Korean spinach dumplings steamed.  I love dumplings and tonight I am having baked chicken and a sweet potatoes.

I did my stretch but we had a visitor at the office so my daily workout had to be placed on hold.  I am going to stretch again before bed and a good long stretch.  I took my probiotic and tomorrow I will do my fiber drink. I do need to measure myself and see if I can see a difference.  Because I had to change my diet my body may need to adjust.  We shall see.

Today I was a bit exhausted.  Adjusting to meds does take time.  The Slam Helped.  My coworker Emily can see how I take so many Energy supplements and not be bouncing off the celling.  Each person is different but I suffer from extreme fatigue syndrome so taking energy supplements help be get energized but not hyper.  She cannot take as much as I can.

Allison is doing well on her MSN 3 I am so proud of her.  Hubby is doing well and eating right.  It takes a family to be focused and encouraging to each other.  Support each other and be strong.

God Bless!

DAY 13... Pancake Receipe. Enjoy!!!

Day Thirteen and I took the day off work to take care of bills and recoup from all the antibiotics.  It is still making me sick to my tummy but I took my last does so I should be getting better.  The weather today was way windy and warm and tonight will be cold. Does not make for a pain free day. I did have some Fibro pain today but I kept on my supplements and vitamins.

Sometimes I think the Antibiotics make things worse.   Tomorrow I will start back the probiotics.  I did get my cholesterol meds from the pharmacy but I am taking my Omega Plex.   This morning I could not sleep in if I tried and I did.  The energy is great but I think hubby at times wishes I would just sit still.  LOL

This morning I made homemade oatmeal pancakes to get more fiber.  It was good.  The family loved them.  We use to have pancake Sundays before church but I have gotten out of it.  Now that I know I can eat healthy pancakes I think I will get back into the tradition again.

For lunch I had baked chicken and broccoli with spinach casserole.  For tonight’s meal I had baby potatoes and broccoli.  I plan on getting sweet potatoes tomorrow.  They are higher in fiber and better to eat for Fibro patients.  Does not cause as much swelling.

I did stretch today and Hubby and I went for a walk to get exercise.  Tomorrow I am headed back to work with SLAM and Meal replacement in hand.  It will be good to get back on the gazelle.  I did weigh myself and lost another two pounds.  Yea Me.  I am including my recipe for simple oatmeal pancakes.  Hope you try and enjoy.

OATMEAL PANCAKES:

Take wheat or regular  Bisquik .

Follow the instructions for pancakes.

Add ¼ to ½ more milk.

Add your favorite flavored instant oatmeal.

Mix together and cook.

Spice if you like.

Watch the butter.

Enjoy!

Have a blessed night.

DAY 12 Rude awakening!

Monday, MONday, MONDAY!!!!  Really not as bad as this past Friday.  Had a smoothie for Breakfast but was still able to workout and Eat lunch today.  Down side.  My doctor called and said my cholesterol was higher than last time.  Three possible reasons. 1. Infection. 2. Steroid shot I got when I had the Flue, 3. Too much protein and not enough fiber.

That means that I am not on a high fiber diet of veggie and fruits and laying off some of the protein I have been taking in.  Still going to complete my diet but the high protein shakes are going to have to change to high fiber.  So it is important to keep up with your doctor visits especially if you are doing a new health plan.

Now I get to see how the change to my diet will help me weight wise and health wise.  The main thing is not to let this get me down.  I do tend to dwell on the negative but I am researching and looking at the positive.

Tonight I will be having baked chicken but a lot more broccoli and tomorrow I will start oatmeal for breakfast and redo my gro list to add more fiber.  I do enough life policies to know how important it is to have something to leave behind I am just not in a hurry to cash in.

I will keep you up to date.  God bless everyone.
My Hubby and the babies.

DAY 11 Jump Jump

Sunday and what a nice day.  I slept in after being up until 12:30 am last night.  We woke up and I hit the ground running. Feeling so much better.  Sometimes your body needs rest.  While we ate breakfast we popped the debt buster cd and listened to it.  It was a great cd with a lot of great advice.

Then I as we do in the country we gathered all our burn paper to burn.  I played with the dogs and enjoyed being outside.  Then I came in and rested some.  Not to overdo it.   After a break we went back out to the groc store to get a few items we seem to always forget.  Mainly the day was spent cleaning and moving.

I made sure to take all my meds and vitamins.   Steve went to work and I worked on taxes all afternoon.  I thank God for the skills he gave me.  Saves us a lot of money in the long run.  Allison went to the local flee marked in search of some shelves for her bathroom. She found me an awesome tea pot.  I have been trying to find the perfect tea/ coffee set for a long time but can never find one with all the pieces.

I did some laundry stretched and now I am watching the last Harry Potter movie. I wonder what tomorrows work day will bring.  Not sure if I dread it or see it as a great challenge.  Oh and I got my blood pressure checked.  I am 119/60.  Doing great. I need to talk to Doc and find out if I need to get off my blood pressure meds.

So the past ten days have had its ups and downs and because I had to stop the cleanse part of the diet I am still going I just have to extend the 24day to 29 day challenge.  While on antibiotics I need to stop the cleanse and probiotics until I am done but I still eating healthy and taking my MSN 3 and spark.  Do not give up if you hit a road block.  Just keep going and start each day like a new challenge and end it with a win.

DAY TEN!

Saturday and cold.  I got up at 6:30am.  I almost miss the sleeping in.  I could not sit still so despite the fact that hubby worked his Travel business until 12am last night he got up and Hubby, Allison and I went to have a morning breakfast out.  I had eggs and meat.  Trying to keep it lean and no carb.  Then we went to the store to get a few needed veggies and supplies.

I was not well.  The meds I am on make me sick but needed to kill infection.  I could barley get through the store and there is a virus going around so if it is out there I am sure it caught up with me.  Allison was doing well and Steve a bit tired.  We got back to the car after shopping and realized it was only 9:30am.  I do not think we have ever done that before.

We are each taking our vitamins and supplements.  Steve is taking Joint Repair, MSN E, and Mussel Recovery.  Allison is on the 24day challenge, Catalyst, and Nighttime recovery and she is taking the RAW BARS for snack.  I am taking the 24 Day Challenge, and FIBO trim.   I just got the Fibo trim in today with all my catalogs and Debt Buster Cds.  I am excited.

When We got home Hubby and I went to bed.  I was running a fever so I needed to rest even if I was not wanting to lay down. I guess I needed it because I passed out and slept until 2:00pm.  I woke up and got a salad with grilled chicken.  I did get a stretch in and worked on my products. Hubby went back to work and I am taking it easy.  Too much and I can set my progress back.

Despite the cold outside I did not hurt due to the weather so that is a bonus.  Now we are having a Harry Potter Marathon tonight and sitting by the fire. I did get a scale today at the store so I will keep up with my progress better.

Everyone have a great, warm night and I am sending gentle cyber hugs out.  Keep up the good work and know you are worth it.

DAY 9. TIME TO SHINE!!!

WOW I mean WOW what a day.  With the new Alabama Insurance Law going into effect we have been slammed and today was I think the busiest of them all.  Hubby took me to work today so Allison could sleep in before class.  We stopped at the local smoothie and I got a protein smoothie adding a SPARK.

Then we walked over to Subway and I got grilled chicken Salad and hubby got him a breakfast sandwich.  Then off to work I went.  Who knew the ride to work was going to be the highlight of the day.  I got to the office early and got set up but as soon as Emily hit the door the phones started.  I got my vitamins in and was feeling energetic but Emily was feeling stressed.

Today we had clients waiting on us and well lunch did not happen.  I tried to eat my salad and could not get a moment.  Emily could not even get a break. Before we knew it the time flew by us and it was 3pm.  I took the rest of my supplements and even tried to drink a small cup of coffee but it actually made me sick.  After a few sips I had to toss it out.

I could tell my antibiotics were kicking in because I started to feel well sick.  It is funny I do not feel sick until I am told I am.  Finally 30 minutes after we were supposed to be closed we headed out we closed shop so thankful it was the weekend.  Allison picked me up and we headed to the store.  I realized I did not get to stretch or exercise.  I felt tight and stressed.

We went to get fire wood because apparently it is supposed to be cold and when I finally got to pick my head out today it was COLD!   See in Alabama one day it can be hot and the next freezing.  In fact it can do that in the same day.   It also causes major pain with Fibro.  The cool part is that even the drastic change did not get notice because I was not in pain.

Allison started her MSN 3 again today and you could see a huge difference.  She is doing so much better and she has a smile on her face.  She is going to have to make sure she takes it every day. I did eat two slices of somewhat healthy pizza.  I figure that as long as I do not over eat and indulge on Fridays the right way I can do very well.  We shall see.   I did get to weigh today I have lost a few more lbs.

Now I am going to stretch and then relax.   I am so glad tomorrow is Saturday.  I need to get organized and get ready for a new week.  I am glad I got to write a life policy for someone today.  I made me feel like I helped a family out for their future.

Try not to stress about what does not go right for you and give it to God.  He wants us to enjoy the life he has given us, live by example and share with others.

Everyone have a great, warm and safe night.

DAY EIGHT FELLING GREAT!

So getting up early this morning was not easy.  You know how you are used to getting up at a set time that you can almost not have to set your alarm?  Well when you have to get up early you tend to panic and wake up early and every couple minutes until you figure why not just get up.   Now try and get your college daughter to get up early. LOL

We got up and got going.  I was a bit excited and nervous about seeing the doc.  Good think about going to the doc at 7:30am in the morning is no traffic.  Once I got into the room it did not take long for Doc to come in.  Cool thing he is always smiling.  So I got my blood work in.  Now keep in mind that I have no spleen so when the blood work came back that I had an infection it did not surprise me.  He did however say as he always does not to let myself get so sick,  Sad thing is I have been feeling so good I did not notice I should be feeling bad.

I will not know about my thyroid, cholesterol and well etc. I have lost two more pounds from the time I last weighed this past weekend.  He also told me and Allison that we were looking good and healthier.  We gave him a sample of the products we were on and he told us he was going to look into the supplements more.  Cannot wait to hear back from him.

After the visit we were off to the office.  Poor Emily came in tired and first thing she said was she wished she had a spark. Then as soon as the doors were opened we got hit with clients.  So mainly all I had was my supplements and fiber smoothie.  By the time Lunch came around I was very hungry.  Only because I got so busy I did not take my appetitecontrol on time.  I had a baked chicken and salad.

I then did a stretch and could notice that I skipped my morning stretch.  Your body always let you know when you have forgotten something or if it needs something.  By this time Allison was at school and she called me to tell me her migraine was coming on.  I noticed that she had not had her MSN 3 in eight days and the last time she did that her headaches came on.  She had to leave school early.  I told her to get back on the MSN3 and we will see if that helps.

I got to workout some on the gazelle but not like I wanted but I did stretch at my desk.   Today was busy ,busy.  For snack I had some tuna and egg.  I took my vitamins and drank extra water today.  Soon we were headed home.  When we got home I greeted my husband and started to the kitchen to cook BBQ chicken and baby potatoes baked.  It was so Good.  Did I mention I love my Nuwave oven?

Hubby went and got my meds so after I eat I got to enjoy my zpac.  I am a mess walking.  The reason why I chose Pheonix as my mascot is because my whole life I have felt like my life was ending due to some illness or something and  I came back to life.  Usually through many trials be fire figuratively speaking.  I credit God for everything but my focus when I am in pain or recovering is picture the illness being burnt out of my life and I am being healed.  It also represents to me forgiveness.  I spell it the way I do to be unique. So the next time you are sick or down think of a symbol you can focus on and picture yourself getting better.

As soon as I get the news on my other blood work I will let you know.  Have a great night tonight and sleep sweet.  God bless.

DAY 7 IS IT LUCK OR HARD WORK?

If I keep jetting out of bed each morning I may hurts something.  This morning I got up and accepted no coffee. After 20 years of drinking two or more cups of coffee a day I have not had the taste for it.  I even did my hair this morning.  For those with Fibro will tell you lifting your arms above your head can been a true pain. Allison and I had to head out early.  Her and Emily were going to work out before work on the CAN YOU 24 Workout DVD.  I would love to but I am a yoga, tai chi kind of girl.

I have seen the DVD and it is a great workout.  I am just not there yet.  We got to work and Emily was there.  Her and Allison rushed in and got there work out on.  Good thing because today was way busy.  As soon as the doors opened we were hit with one client after another.  I had my Supplements this morning and my Meal Replacement shake.  Good for a busy day.

About 10 am I needed a spark.  Had to keep up the pace.  Then about 12:30 pm it slow down enough for us to eat lunch. I had tuna salad and my low carb peanut butter cookie as a treat.  I then stretched out in the back room doing some yoga moves.  Always good to get the blood flowing and brain going again.

After battling the computer for another hour or so I think got on the gazelle and plugged into my workout music and let loose.  Talk about a good workout.  I needed it and after the stretch I did helped me to relax.  I did use a stick today to stretch out my arms and back.  I got to try a catalyst today.   To put it simply it is a fat burner to promote muscle definition.

The awesome thing about today was Emily became adistributor.  I am so excited.  Watching her look at her own business site was fun.  She had so many questions and can read up on all the products and supplements.  I am sure she will have fun learning so much tonight.

By the time we got off work Allison and I were ready to head home.  We talked about our food for the day and what workout we did.  It is great to have someone that is doing the same as you and keeping you on track.

Hubby cooked tonight so we had grilled chicken and green beans.  For snack I will have a banana and take the rest of my Supplements.  I will do a stretch to relax.  Tomorrow I have a doctor’s appointment.  I am interested to see if he notices a change and what my blood pressure will be and my weight.

Until tomorrow, Everyone be safe and God Bless.

DAY 6 SLAM DUNK!

What a day.  I would think this was my favorite.  Slept well last night.  Got up, got ready for work , took my morning supplements then Allison and I were out the door.  We stopped by Tropical Smoothie to  get a smoothie for breakfast.  I had the Mussel Blast and we both gave the woman who was mixing the shakes a spark to add to the smoothie for that extra kick we needed with breakfast.   It was awesome.  The Woman said no problem and when we got the smoothies they were so good.

Then off to work I go and off to College Allison went.  She dropped me of at work and I get a good stretch in.  I knew I had a lot to do.  I needed to quote a few life policies and auto quotes.  Emily my coworker came in with a PEP.  We tend to start our day with how was our night and how are we doing health wise.  It is nice to have a coworker you get along with so well.  We decided that we need to come to work early and due a yoga CD workout together to encourage each other to keep going.  Allison and My Coworker will do day one of Can You 24 before work tomorrow.

The spark smoothie had me full of energy all morning and by the time lunch rolled around I was ready to eat.  I had a salad from subway mostly greens and chicken.  It was so good. My favorite place to get a salad is Golden Corral because you have a whole stocked bar to choose from and it cost half as much.  I just did not have time to go today.

After Lunch we both stretch and did some yoga.  Then my coworker went and got on the gazelle.  I was so proud of her.  LOL Then after she had her turn I t was mine.  I actually look forward to the time of day when I can get on the Gazelle and somewhat run off my stress and calories.  By this time my coworker was feeling a bit sluggish so I gave her a spark and you could see a huge difference.  Spark has become a staple in our household and My coworker is going to get some for herself.

The main thing to remember is to take your vitamins like you should and congratulate yourself on a day well done. At snack I had a banana.  Hubby was home and cooked Chicken Hobo Dinners in our Nuwave oven.  The best Christmas Gift Ever.  The meal is basically take a large sheet of foil. Put in either hamburger or Chicken, Broccoli, Onion, Small sliced potatoes or sweet potatoes then spice as you like roll up the foil to make a pouch and place in the new wave for 20 minutes, Rotate and then cook 20 more minutes.   It is our top easy favorite meal.

For Afternoon snack I made Low carb Peanut butter cookies.  This is a tablespoon of bisquick, Cup of peanut butter, Cup of splenda and on egg, mix and cook at 350 for 10 minutes.  Talk about melt in your mouth and you do not have to feel guilty about eating sweets.  I had two. Do not deny you something sweet every now and then or you will come off your eating plan.

Now I am still full of energy but getting ready for work tomorrow and bed tonight.  I seem to be more focused and calm now that I have a plan and sticking to it.  It helps to know you are in control of your health and that you can accomplish so much. My coworker has been inspired only by watching me and how I have changed and how well the products that she has tried works.  She is thinking about becoming a distributor.  I tell her never invest in something you do not believe in even if it is only $79.00.  Maybe I can get her to tell her story soon for the blog.

I do want to give love to my daughter Allison who has been doing so well on her products and her exercise video can you 24 that she went from a size 22 to a 16 and she is doing so much better in school. I will get her story as well.

I honestly believe God brought us to this company because for so many years we have prayed for relief from our pain and lack of energy that we thought we would never feel free from extreme fatigue syndrome.   I would never put money into supplements and a company if it did not have good core values and I believe Advocare does.  Thank you to the people at Advocare for recognizing a need and not only providing a great product but a positive biblical message that you core values are built on.

Have a peaceful and relaxing night every.

DAY FIVE STILL ALIVE!

Woke up this morning right off the bat getting ready for work.  I think the best thing is not being stiff and in pain when I get up and for today to be so yuck weather wise I think I did great.  Allison and I headed to work.  She had a pep in her step.  Weather like this usually makes us not want to get out of bed and we hurt so much we dread the day.

However day five and I did not eat before I left home.  I took my probiotics but thought I would wait to drink my meal replacement when I get to work.  So needless to say I got to experience the smells of temptation from many restaurants on the way to work.   We stopped and got gas and well they were serving all the fat fried breakfast you want.   I fought back the urge to grab just that little something.

I got to work ran into the Kitchenette of the office and mixed up my shake and drank it with a thirst.  When I got my shake down I was relieved and good.  No more cravings and Hunger.  That was so close. I did my morning stretch at work before we opened and then felt ready to go for the day.

I will say that I did have my usual headaches because of the weather but they were not as bad as they could have been.  At lunch I ate Tuna Salad with just a few wheat crackers and my SPARK.  My Coworker who I have been giving samples of SLAM and SPARK to said she tried the Spark for the first time this weekend and she was so excited.  She said she loved the energy and felt so good.  She is a lot healthier than me so hearing her like it was great.  She is planning on getting more.

For snack I had a Banana and got my work out on my gazelle at work.  I missed it all weekend.  I felt good to get on it and cut loose.  It helped me get through the day.  My Hubby Picked me up from work and we had a wonderful date night.  We had not had one of those in years.  I usually feel so down and hurting that I think why bother.

I will say thing that my health and attitude affects my husband greatly.  He hurts when I hurt and is sad because I am sad.  He wants to help me and he feel like he can’t.  Seeing me happy and getting healthy he feels he can too and he feels less stressed now that I am getting better.  Being unhealthy and in pain does not just hurt you.  Now After a nice evening of healthy fine dining we are watching a movie together.  I pray everyone at least tries to believe that they are worth the effort and invest in their future health now.  It is never too late.

DAY FOUR!!!

Each highlighted word is a link to what I have been taking or doing.

Last night I slept hard and could not believe that the sleepworks did so well.  I woke up smiling and feeling good.  So not bad for the fourth day.  I was going to lay in bed with Hubby watching movies most the morning before he had to go to work.  I took my Probiotic and then we had a healthy omelet for breakfast.

Hubby is eating healthy by proxy because well I need to eat healthy and buy the groceries and he eats what we prepare.  He even gets into cooking a healthy meal as if it is a challenge.

So Steve ended up getting called up to work early due to the bad weather up North.  Did I mention he was a travel agent.  So Allison and I decided to tackle the store and go buy much needed groceries.   We made up a list of what we wanted to get and made sure it meshed with our carefully planned diet.   We walked around not even noticing any of the sweets we usually get.

Then on the way home we got a to go meal.  Now I know it is hard to eat on the go but we went to one of our favorite Chinese spot and ordered the broccoli, chicken and brown rice for Allison and I got steamed cabbage dumplings.  My Favorite!

We headed home and put away the groceries and I ran outside to of all things work on the truck to prepare it for the rain to come and play with the dogs.  I could not sit still.  The day was warm and felt good.

Then I came in and worked on the house and did some computer work.  Then I stretched and did some exercises.  The cats had to help me with that.  I then cooked our supper for the night.  Wheat pasta and spaghetti.  Small portion.   I will have a banana for snack tonight.  I took my Omegaplex and will take my cleaning tablets before bed.  Now I am working on more laundry and watching Steve work.  I will stretch again, fold laundry and get ready for work tomorrow.  I have my meals and snack ready for tomorrow and my supplements divided.  Always feels good to be prepared.  Now with the major storms coming in tomorrow and this will be the test of test for my body I am prepared and ready to go.
I keep telling myself that I am worth the effort, time attention and investment.  I also do not want to forget that without my faith in God I would not be able to be here today to share.

DAY 3 25 lbs latter

Saturday and day 3: Last night I slept great.  I woke up energetic and looking forward to going to my Brothers house to work with my oldest Niece on making a birthday cake for my youngest Niece fourth birthday party.  In the past When I thought about all I had to do over the weekend, it stressed me out so much.  I got to the point where I lost sleep and woke up tired, sore and dreading all I had to do.

Dread is never a good feeling and it should never be a part of one’s lifestyle.  I got up and Drank my fiber  with 8oz of OJ and today I had a slam in the AM.  After 30 Minutes we ate Tuna and Toast sandwich.  It was a great source of protein to get the morning started off right.   Then we got dressed and headed out to the store then off to my brother’s.  I was shocked to see Allison spring out of bed this morning.  She is on the program too so we keep each other going and encourage each other.

Once I got to My brother’s house I stretched while I talked with the family.  I needed to because I was feeling stiff and it helps me to stay limber and feel better when I stretch.  I think fixed me a Chocolate MealReplacement Shake.  This would be my Lunch for today.   Usually when I make a cake I have to eat the icing sample the batter and then devour the cake when it is done. Today I did not feel the need or desire to do that.  I was able to walk away and not think twice about it.  In fact I did not even realize I did until I started on my way back home.

I did stop with Steve to get a snack. My snack consisted of grilled chicken and Spark to drink.  Protein is good.  Now I am home doing laundry and getting ready to clean house.  Something I usually do not do on the weekend because of being too tired.  We are having baked chicken and broccoli and I am taking the Dogs for a walk in the neighborhood for a good cardio then another stretch.  I am so excited I got my Sleep Works in and Steve got in his Muscle Strength and his favorite PeachBars.  Steve is slowly getting into the groove and I am excited to have him on board.  Today I got to weigh myself.  I started off last week at 315 lbs  Yes 315lbs and five days later I weigh 290 lbs  That is 25lbs.  I know that the weight will come off fast at first and I am excited.  My goal is 200lbs to start.  I am well on my way.  Hard to believe it is only day 3.
It is 8:30 pm and I have walked the dogs with Allison and these ladies are not small by any means.  When I say walk I mean they almost dragged us so the pace we kept was more of a fast walk.  Then we ate Chicken and veggies roasted.  For snack I had three peanut butter crackers.  I took my Omegaplex and I will take my cleansing tablets at bed.  We got our Sleep works in so I will give it a try.  I am still working on laundry.  I am not sore or tired. Did I mention I was on Cholesterol and High blood pressure meds.  I wonder if I continue to exercise, Eat right and take my vitamins if I can eventually get off.  We shall see.  Of course I never recommend that anyone stop their meds unless their doctor tells them to.  Good night all do not forget to Stretch.
